  Durban War Games Club Code of Conduct Effective Date : 01-02-2024 Part 1: Cardinal Rules Section 1: General Principles 1.1 The Spirit of the Game The following guidelines and codes of conduct exist to ensure that the intended spirit and intent of the hobby is maintained at all times. The hobby is a means for people to enjoy themselves. Interpersonal actions intended to lessen this enjoyment are not within the spirit of the game or the hobby. 1.2 Cardinal Rules Always be polite and respectful. Always tell the truth and never cheat. Part 2: Casual Play Section 2: Principles In the spirit of fostering a welcoming and enjoyable gaming environment, players are encouraged to adhere to the following principles during casual play: 2.1 Greeting and Farewell Respectful Interaction : Begin the game by respectfully greeting your opponent and conclude it with a courteous farewell. Punctuality : Arrive on time as to not keep your opponent waiting. 2.2 Language and Communication Language Sensitivit
